Ocean Sciences (OS) carries out a variety of oceanographic projects in the fields of physical, biological, and chemical oceanography. GERG operates the Texas Automated Buoy System (TABS), a network of data buoys in Texas coastal and offshore waters which record and report ocean currents, water properties and meteorological data.
